Oradea Experience Project was planned for Website Creation service, focusing on developing a comprehensive platform to showcase the city's attractions, services, and experiences. This project involved collaboration with a backend developer to create a fully functional website with extensive features and capabilities.
Oradea Experience is a platform designed to promote tourism and local services in Oradea, Romania. The website serves as a central hub for visitors and locals to discover attractions, events, restaurants, accommodations, and various services available in the city. The platform features an intuitive user interface with advanced search and filtering capabilities to help users find exactly what they're looking for.
- Frontend Development: Development of the complete user interface using React with Next.js framework and Tailwind CSS. This included creating responsive layouts, interactive components, and ensuring optimal user experience across all devices.
- Database Integration: Connecting the client-side application to the database, implementing data fetching, state management, and ensuring seamless communication between frontend and backend services.

Technical Details
The Oradea Experience website was built using React with Next.js framework, providing excellent performance, SEO optimization, and server-side rendering capabilities. The styling was implemented using Tailwind CSS, ensuring a modern, responsive design that works seamlessly across all devices and screen sizes.
The project involved extensive frontend development work, including creating reusable components, implementing state management, handling user interactions, and ensuring optimal performance. I worked closely with a backend developer who handled the server-side logic, database management, and API development. My responsibilities included connecting the client-side application to the backend services, implementing data fetching and state management, and ensuring seamless communication between the frontend and backend systems.
The website features a comprehensive set of functionalities including advanced search and filtering systems, user authentication and authorization, content management capabilities, interactive maps, booking systems, and various other features designed to enhance the user experience. The platform is designed to be scalable and maintainable, with clean code architecture and best practices implemented throughout the development process.
Results
The Oradea Experience website is now live and fully functional, providing users with a comprehensive platform to discover and explore everything that Oradea has to offer. The project was completed within the three-month timeline, delivering a high-quality, feature-rich website that meets all the client's requirements and expectations.
The platform has achieved significant success with 70 businesses creating their accounts, hundreds of rewards accessible from the community shop, and events posted frequently. The website now serves almost 500 user accounts, demonstrating strong community engagement and platform adoption.
The website features a modern, responsive design with excellent performance and user experience. The collaboration between frontend and backend development ensured a seamless integration of all features and functionalities, resulting in a robust and reliable platform.
