Project Overview
Within this project, I collaborated with BDD Logspeed to optimize and develop their digital infrastructure. I took responsibility for managing their website, email accounts, and storage space. I implemented efficient solutions to optimize storage usage, ensuring optimal resource management and leveraging cloud-based technologies. Additionally, I conducted several workshop sessions for the company's staff, aiming to improve productivity through the efficient use of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Drive, Excel, Word).
A significant aspect of the project was the website that is now available at www.bddlogspeed.ro.
Technical Details
For drive space, we utilized Microsoft's OneDrive system. Their domain was purchased through RoTLD, and web and email hosting was provided by CyberFolks. The website design was created by me in Figma, and then a colleague developed the HTML and CSS, resulting in the live website at www.bddlogspeed.ro.
In addition to the workshop sessions, I conducted both online and in-person workshops on office productivity. These workshops focused on enhancing email communication skills, utilizing Excel for record-keeping, and effectively using OneDrive. Regarding OneDrive, I demonstrated its functionality and granted necessary permissions for their emails. For Excel, I provided foundational knowledge on functions and data manipulation. To ensure they could troubleshoot issues independently, I guided them on using Google search and ChatGPT to find solutions. I then assisted them in applying the necessary functions and calculations to their tables to improve efficiency and accuracy. In terms of email communication, I modified their email signatures for a more professional appearance, collaboratively created text templates for various scenarios, and taught them how to leverage ChatGPT to compose more specific and clear emails.
Results and Impact
As a result, I maintain ongoing contact with BDD Logspeed and continue to provide support for urgent cases. BDD Logspeed now has a strong online presence, improved client communication through professional emails, and an optimized Excel and OneDrive system.
As the company continues to grow, their next digital step will be to acquire a dedicated application with GPS tracking for their vehicles and implement analytics for income, expenses, consumption, and other relevant metrics.
