Project Overview

My role at ARDT Oradea was to lead and oversee the organization's design initiatives as a Design Director. I had to participate in the general assembly of the association's leading board and also take care of roll-up creations, flyers, posts, and other visual materials.

Moreover, since ARDT Oradea is a small association, my responsibilities often extended beyond design. At times, I had to assist with event planning, coordinate with partners, manage social media content, and even contribute to brainstorming sessions for new projects. This dynamic environment required me to be adaptable, resourceful, and proactive, ensuring that every aspect of our initiatives aligned with the association’s mission and vision.

ARDT Oradea (Association for Youth Responsibility and Development Oradea) is a non-governmental organization specialized in educational and personal development for young people, providing opportunities to grow through local and even national projects. The association emphasizes practical learning and high-level "gamification" methods in its activities, projects, and events.

  • Planning: I helped at planning projects, meetings, processes between departments and designs according to each project's branding.
  • Design: Includes design of several visual elements, such as project logos, flyers, Instagram and Facebook posts, templates, and many more.
  • Branding: Involves defining the branding guidelines based on the project's idea and elements. (location, type, target audience, etc.) The branding guidelines helped me after to set the right descriptions, features lists, titles, icons, font, colors, presentations, and others.

Technical Details

My work at ARDT Oradea (related to design) was mostly done in Figma, but for some specific projects and scenarios I have also utilized Adobe Photoshop and Canva.

A consistent visual identity was developed to maintain brand cohesion across all materials. The color scheme and typography are chosen to appeal to a younger audience, aligning with their mission to foster personal and professional growth among the youth.

ARDT Oradea's marketing strategy is focused on physical presence, such as reaching out to communities (ARDT discord group, schools, another associations, etc.) that explains the importance of flyers, roll-ups and physical marketing elements.

The organization's website and social media channels showcase a variety of content, including announcements of events, workshops, and community projects. The design elements are clean and modern, with an emphasis on accessibility and user engagement.
